Send new submits to Slack, email, Sheets, and other apps
ChatterForms has a Zapier app in beta. The trigger is New Submission. Create an API key, accept the invite, and pick a destination in Zapier. This app is not listed in the Zapier App Directory yet.
Zapier is not a HIPAA-eligible destination. HIPAA forms are hidden and rejected. Use the dashboard or CSV export for those forms.
How it works
- Create a live API key on the API keys page. It starts with cf_live_.
- Accept the ChatterForms Zapier invite on this page, or from Set up Zapier in the form / Send to Zapier on submissions.
- Paste the key, choose New Submission, and pick the form.
- Choose any Zapier app as the destination. Those apps are Zapier’s, not ChatterForms-built connectors.

Is ChatterForms in the Zapier App Directory?
Not yet. The app is in beta. You cannot find it by searching Zapier.
Which trigger is available?
New Submission only. There is no Create Form action in this version.
Which plans include Zapier?
Every plan. HIPAA forms still cannot use Zapier.
Do file and signature answers come through?
Yes, as HTTPS URLs. Those URLs expire after about 24 hours.
